NA, I’M GOOD

This community came together because I was met with an emotional turning point when I was told that my significant other had a medical issue where they could no longer partake in drinking alcohol. As someone who had been with them for twelve years, it was a no-brainer that I would join in their alcohol-free journey.

This is not an easy feat as a food blogger/critic/photographer since beautiful and delicious drinks are a large part of my industry. And being completely transparent, I have tasted some drinks here and there over the past year but never full drinks.

This is where I come to say: this is not an Alcoholics Anonymous, Narcotics Anonymous, al-anon, or completely sober community. Yes, I hope to connect people with the same goals and morals, but I do not want anyone to rely on this community for purism.

HISTORY OF FOUNDER

I was raised by two raging alcoholics who never provided the love that a small human should have been given. As a teenager, I drank without caring about the repercussions, attempting to be a rebel, but when you have parents who aren’t present in your life… these things go unnoticed.
This makes me an Adult Child of an Alcoholic, and I have attended Al-Anon meetings and gone through the steps myself. Through this, I wanted to ensure that I did not want to fall into the same hole my parents once did.

OUR MISSION

A new sober lifestyle mocktail directory based out of Austin, Texas, that launched in January of 2024.

We share mocktails, NA spirits, local restaurants & bars, and more for individuals who are sober or maybe just want to drink less!

We’ve started NA, I’m good to symbolize a form of response that we, as sober people, tend to have to express when offered alcohol at parties, dinners, or events: “Nah, I’m good.”

NA, I’m good.

[non-alcoholic] I’m good / Nah, I’m good.
