LOCAL RESTAURANT OPENINGS
Veracruz Fonda officially opened in the Mueller area on April 8th and I was lucky enough to check it out during the soft opening.
Highlights | concha, coffee, chilaquiles, and the incredible decor
FYI: no reservations are offered but they offer breakfast, lunch, & dinner
Gourdough’s launched a trailer in the Sochac District off Menchaca Road and are planning on expanding to the Domain area as well.
Highlights | Open until midnight

JewBoy Sliders has replaced the previous TLV in The Fareground downtown and is officially opening Monday, April 24.
Highlights | sliders are great size for lunch and they’re delicious; don’t miss out on the pasta salad!
NON-LOCAL RESTAURANT OPENINGS
La Popular opens their second location, which is in Southwest Austin. They come from Roseville, California offering delicious, elevated, & modern Mexican food.
Highlights | hip vibes, w/club music, fun atmosphere and delightful bites. Get the tuna tostada, pineapple agua fresca, and campechana tacos.
BEST OF AUSTIN BRACKET WINNERS
Since our Best of Austin Bracket Tournament wrapped up, we have announced our winners and wanted to share them here! Shortly, I will be visiting these winners and letting my followers know what I recommend to eat at each restaurant!

- Jewboy Sliders is officially opening in the Fareground.
- La Popular is also officially opening its doors to the public in Lantana Place!
Tue April 25
- Bike Night (Cyclists) Presented by Ascension Seton at COTA | 6 to 8pm
Wed April 26
- National Pretzel Day at any Easy Tiger location | $1 pretzels starting at noon
Fri April 28
- Deep Eddy Vodka is launching Deep Eddy Sweet Vodka + Tea Hard Seltzers.
Sat April 29
- RADwood Austin is returning to COTA displaying cars from 80s & 90s.
- Eeyore’s 58th Birthday Party | 11am
- Barks for Beers Kickoff at Central Machine Works | 11am to 3pm
Sun April 30
- Cars Coffee & Croissants: Porsche car show at Mozart’s | 9am to 1pm
- Deep Eddy Vibe Market | 12 to 5pm
