LOCAL RESTAURANT OPENINGS
Daiboku ramen
Sazon Ramen has opened a sister restaurant, Daiboku Ramen, located on the UT campus
Their omakase-style ramen menu will be offered at the 10-seat ramen bar facing an open kitchen. The omakase will include five courses with two ramens and various chef-curated plates featuring local and seasonal ingredients, and wine, whisky and sake pairing options, starting at $39 for five courses plus beverage pairings.
Daiboku aims to transport diners to a traditional ramen shop with its inviting atmosphere, complete with an open kitchen and long bar. The concept encourages customers to savor their dishes solo or dine in groups at large family-style tables.
Highlights | open 5pm to 10pm daily, omakase menu will be offered beginning June 16th; info to book the omakase will be posted on Instagram at @daibokuramen soon.

The highly established Thailand tea shop officially opened in Austin this week. This is their third US location (the first two are in Washington and California) so it’s exciting that they picked our city for their next spot!
They're known for their teaspresso machine which makes their teas perfect with time and temperature.
They offer green tea, milk tea, Pouchong tea, Oolong tea, black tea, and more with the option to add extras like boba.
Open daily from 11 a.m. to 9:30 p.m.
