if you’ve watched somebody feed phil, you have probably fallen in love with phil rosenthal and his kind soul, excited mannerisms when food is delivered to his table, and the incredible support he provides the cities he visits.

season 6 of somebody feed phil was released on tuesday, october 18th
and the reason I’m telling you is because austin was one of his stops!

 phil’s backstory

Rosenthal created, wrote, & produced Everybody Loves Raymond from 1996 to 2005. starting the show, I’ll Have What Phil’s Having on pbs in 2015 is what launched phil into travel and food coverage. A few years later, in 2018, he reworked the show to premiere on netflix and named it somebody feed phil, a play on the name of his show he was wildly successful with.

you should catch the episode on netflix (episode 3) but I wanted to provide you with a list of all of the places he visited so you too,
can go on a phil rosenthal tour of your own!

he did a wonderful job of going to places that I would deem the best in town, so props to him and his team! if you’ve been following me for a while, you’ll recognize most of these places!

support these incredible people who are serving the homeless people in austin

author’s note: I will say that someone might need to teach him what proper tex-mex is because he seemed to assume since he was in texas and eating mexican food, then it’s tex-mex. lol but it’s not that cut and dry, phil!

what was your favorite part of this episode? have you been to all of these spots?

love to see all of these local places being supported; I hope you can support them too!

CHEERS!
