9pm – 11pm: Check-In will open at 8:30 PM. You should be in line to check in no later than 8:45 PM in order to ensure you get out on the water by your departure time of 9:00 PM. YOU MUST RETURN TO THE DOCK BY 11:00 PM.
What you need to know:
One person in your group will need to bring a valid state-issued ID and a matching credit or debit card. (no AMEX) Your ID and card will be kept on file for incidentals.
We are requiring all guests to wear facial coverings while on site. You can take them off when you are on the water, but you will be asked to put them back on before you get out of your boats and on the dock. (If this requirement makes you feel uncomfortable or you cannot follow this policy fully, we do not recommend purchasing tickets to this event.)
Pro Tip: Wear a waterproof watch or bring a phone in a waterproof floating case so you know what time it is. (we also rent floating dry bags)

Last year, over 1400 volunteers removed 6,000 pounds of trash from lakes and green spaces. This year, Rowing Dock has partnered with The Trail Conservancy and Epic SUP to continue creating an even larger impact in the second year. To tackle trash on all ends of the lake, volunteers may choose to pick up trash by boat or on foot by walking the trails at Rowing Dock and Epic SUP, or on foot at Sand Beach Park. Volunteers can also select one two-hour time slot to clean up: 9:30am, 12pm, or 2:30pm.
This event is free for all community volunteers, with advance registration required. To allow all community members to participate, there will be a small donation fee required for corporate teams with 10+ individuals. All funds raised from this event will go to the Trail Conservancy, a 501c3 organization.
All volunteers will receive a participant t-shirt and several goodies and coupons from local Austin brands. Prizes from Austin FC, YETI and Gossamer Gear will be awarded to volunteers that bring back the most trash and the weirdest Austin item. There will be free refreshments, snacks and more from Thundercloud Subs, Juiceland, Blenders & Bowls, Lick Honest Ice Creams and other Austin staples. To sweeten things up, Tiff’s Treats will hand out hot cookies to volunteers throughout the day.

By sharing this work, we add fuel to a revolution in the making. People crave the satisfaction and creative outlet of producing something truly unique and fit to their own preferences for design and function. This renaissance of working with our hands has helped create the movement that is the custom motorcycle scene.
It is our vision that those that visit The Handbuilt Motorcycle Show will be inspired to pick up tools and use their hands to make something of their own.
This year's three-day event in Austin, Texas, will see attendees experience over 100,000 square feet of curated show space, including over 150 handbuilt motorcycles, handbuilt cars and hot rods, and an interactive art gallery. The one-of-a-kind show attracts over 25,000 attendees of all ages throughout the event. It presents an exciting and rare opportunity to see custom builds, meet designers, and experience art created by some of the most knowledgeable and skilled builders worldwide, creating one-of-a-kind, truly handbuilt machines. The expo displays the beauty of what can be created by hand, from welders to leather makers, engine gurus, and metal tinkerers.

Handbuilt Show planned activations include Ives Brother's Wall Of Death, Red Bull Stunt Rider Aaron Colton, artist Makoto Endo live-painting motorcycles with 'chopsticks,' a vintage black light poster exhibition, a kid's obstacle course (kids under 12 get in free), and more. Portland-based Rogue Ales will be activating a Beer Bar serving a variety of brews, including this year's limited edition "Knuckle Buster IPA" collaboration with Revival Cycles.
There's a VIP Supporter Lounge for special ticket holders and a merch area with limited-edition luxury goods curated for the show. It's a big party in a giant cave filled with incredible works of art created by the world's most passionate builders and artists.

37th and Guadalupe, near Dominos and Groovy Lube.
Should I drive or walk?
The lights are best enjoyed walking as some are inaccessible via car. You can drive, and if you do please enter on the Guadalupe side.
Where can I park?
Depending on the night, you can find parking on 37th. Otherwise, try neighboring streets such as 34th and 35th. All residential parking is free. We recommend ride sharing and carpooling to bypass traffic.
What’s traffic like?
There’s more traffic on the weekends, but generally you should be able to do the drive in 10 minutes. But we really recommend walking.
What time should I come?
We aim to have all the lights on from 7pm-10pm. These hours can vary by house depending on work schedules and bed times.
What dates are the lights on until?
They’ll be on through the new year, at least. There will also be some on before the premiere night, but not to completion.
